Mottisfont & Dunbridge Station opened in 1847. It once had a busy local goods yard which closed in 1961. The rural station house, like that at Dean, is privately occupied.

Thanks to the efforts of Three Rivers Rail Partnership volunteers, this station and others along the route, now has attractive flower tubs on the platforms throughout the Summer.
