Friends Of The Lymington To Brockenhurst Line


Talk on THE SPRAT AND WINKLE LINE on 7th November 2016 at 7.30 pm at Lymington community centre by Dick Hewett, president of the friends of Romsey signal box.

The line, named officially the Andover and Redbridge Line, was begun in 1858, completed in 1865, and closed in 1967 except for a short length used for freight. Dick Hewett will tell us also about saving and moving the Romsey signal box, which is now open to the public on selected days.

Tea & coffee will be served after the Talk, with a chance to talk to the speaker.
