Swaythling Nature Walks - Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April

Starting from Swaythling Railway Station at 1100 each day, the route takes walkers past St Marys Church, along the Monks Brook and up onto the Meadow close to Junction 5 of the M27. Guided by local nature expert Bob, visitors are invited to enjoy these free tours to discover current flowers and plants in this wonderfully secluded area as well as any animals that may be around. An insight into the area's history is also provided, which will be of interest to many. Please ensure you have correct clothing and footwear for the weather available. Tracks can be uneven and muddy and are unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs. Walks last around 2 hours with a stop at the Fleming Arms on the way back for refreshments!
