Woolston Station Signal Box garden project takes shape

Volunteers last week continued to revamp the garden behind Woolston Station Signal Box. The vision of growing flowers, vegetables and fruit in new raised beds for a community garden is slowly coming together and it is hoped that further progress can be made at the next work morning on Wednesday 20 July from 0930 - 1230.

Recent work has included clearing a path, revamping some existing raised beds, marking out areas for new raised beds and cutting back brambles and ivy. We have also put up new hanging baskets at the ticket office to brighten up the station.

More volunteers would be welcome to join in. Just give us a call on 07900 103296 if you are interested in helping. LIkewise, if you have spare plants or seeds you would like to donate just let us know!
