Swaythling Autumn Nature Walks

The final set of nature walks for 2018 at Swaythling will take place on the weekend of Saturday 27 October and Sunday 28 October.As usual, the meeting place is outside Swaythling Station at 1100 on the Saturday and 1130 on the Sunday and the free guided walk will take in St Mary’s Medieval Church, The Monks Brook, The Grange, The Greenway and the Monks Brook Meadow areas.Some of the paths are

St Denys Station Car park off Osborne Road South gets a tidy up!

Guides help tidy up Chandler's Ford Station

Last Thursday evening, around 30 Guides from Chandlers Ford helped tidy the station in a brilliant display of community spirit.As part of their work, the station had a full litter pick, the drainage holes on the footbridge were cleared, weeds were pulled up, leaves were collected up and our train planter (Fordy) finally had its flower pots planted up for the winter!Well done to all and many thanks!

Scouts install new planters at Eastleigh Station

If you are wondering what the boxes are at the front of Eastleigh Station, they are the work of Eastleigh Scouts, who have been undertaking a project at the station over the last few months.As part of a Community Scouting Badge the group have helped clean the station, litter picked and now install planters to brighten up the front of the station.In a couple of weeks time the Scouts will return to plants

Volunteers start to brighten up Millbrook Station in Southampton

Bursledon Heritage Day is a big success!

Last Sunday The Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership helped create a wonderful day for the Heritage sites in Bursledon.A free bus service was provided by the Southampton & District Transport Heritage Trust to link Bursledon Windmill and Bursledon Brickworks with train services at Bursledon Station all day.
